Practical Courses

We offer the three RYA practical courses detailed below, on a sailing yacht only, in conjunction with New Parks Cruising Association. The majority of practical courses start on a Sunday evening and run to the following Friday evening. The yacht is based in Dartmouth, and the south west coastline between Exmouth and Fowey provides interesting and attractive sailing and landfalls. The precise itinerary for any trip will however depend on the weather.

The Sea experience trips are usually shorter trips, often in the Solent, without the challenge of working towards a formal course certificate
